| Spray Guard® is constructed using an artificial grass surface laminated
to a high density polyethylene backing. Spray Guard® dramatically channels dangerous road water spray downward.
The result is better visibility for the truck driver and
other motorists on the road. Reduced spray means there will
be much less build up on mirrors, which greatly increases
truck driver visibility. Better visibility means potentially
fewer accidents. The efficient channeling of water and road
debris keeps trucks much cleaner, so fewer washes are needed.
This combined with an extremely long life expectancy during
normal road service means that Spray Guard® will actually
save you money in the long haul.
Independent tests rate Spray Guard® as the most effective spray suppression rain flap.
Test results show that Spray Guard® reduces spray by 83%
compared to a smooth surface flap which has a rating of
10%.
Spray Guard® is available in all
standard and custom size flaps. Spray Guard® comes in either
White or Black and is available in different colors with
a minimum purchase of 500 flaps. All Symplastics flaps have
a standard 7" center bolt hole location, utilizing
oval holes and the bottom corners are rounded.
Spray Guard® can be easily decorated
with custom logos using a silk screen printing technique
with special epoxy inks.
Spray Guard® is the standard OEM
flap installed on the steering wheels of Freightliner, Kenworth
and Mack Trucks.
