In the bottling and canning industry, Ramex® VR UHMW-PE is the premier material for use in change parts, such as star wheels, guides, wear strips, slide pads and feed screws. Ramex® UHMW-PE’s very low coefficient of friction prevents label tear and abrasion and wear on cans and bottles, while decreasing surface friction, which results in lower energy costs. Ramex® UV UHMW is used in many farm equipment applications because of its superior impact and abrasion resistance, non-stick and low friction properties, resistance to corrosion, sound deadening characteristics and improved resistance to ultra violet rays. In fenders, its toughness and formability make it ideal for protecting the wheels of tractors. Since it is available in colors, the fender can be coordinated to the color of the tractor.
